Christine Krüger (she/her) is Senior Communications Manager at MERICS. Prior to joining MERICS, Christine worked as public relations officer in the Office of the Executive Director at the Center for International Peace Operations (ZIF). After her studies she was an assistant for a Member of the European Parliament in Brussels. Afterwards, she was the press spokesperson for the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) and project manager at the journal “Internationale Politik” (IP) in Berlin.
She studied German, History and French in her Bachelor's degree with a focus on language and communication in Regensburg. After an internship in Canada she completed her Master's degree in European Culture and Economy at the Ruhr-University Bochum and in Madrid with a focus on political science.
