Evi Fitriani is Professor of International Relations at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia. She is the co-founder of the ASEAN Study Center, Universitas Indonesia. She also holds a position on the Indonesia's Country Coordinator of the Network of East Asian Think Tanks (NEAT), the track two of the ASEAN Plus Three (APT). She helped establish the masters program on European Studies at the University in 2003. She has received more than 20 international grants and scholarships. Her research interests include Indonesia's foreign policy, ASEAN, regionalism, Asia-Europe relations, and Indonesia-Australia relation
