Robin Schindowski

Robin Schindowski focuses on China’s innovation and industrial policy as well as the implications of such for the global economy. Prior to joining MERICS as a fellow, he worked at Bruegel, where he wrote about the implications of China’s industrial policy for the European Union and the innovative performance of Chinese firms in critical technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Studies and Economics from the University of Tübingen and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne and the University of Paris-Saclay. Between his bachelor’s and master’s degrees, he worked at Deloitte Consulting in the automotive industry.
